Description:
Our client is searching for a Registered Psychiatric Nurse. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in providing psychiatric nursing services to support women experiencing homelessness and addiction in Dublin.
Objective:
Your objective will be to promote mental health recovery and enhance the quality of life for their service users. Working within a dedicated team, you'll contribute to delivering high-quality mental health services tailored to the unique needs of women living in homelessness.
Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the team to develop andimplement mental health services and programs specifically tailored to our clients.
* Conduct individualized assessments, develop person-centered care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.
* Advocate for clients, providing them with empowering information to facilitate decision-making and goal-setting for recovery.
* Implement recovery-based programs, such as WRAP (Wellness, Recovery Action Plan), to support long-term mental health recovery and housing stability.
* Contribute to the development of protocols, guidelines, and professional nursing standards.
* Develop and monitor risk assessments for clients and ensure compliance with relevant legislation such as The Mental Health Act and The National Drug Strategy.
* Provide education and support to clients and their families, as well as onward referrals as necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and reports.
Qualifications:
* Registration in the Psychiatric Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI).
Desirable:
* Understanding of the challenges faced by clients experiencinghomelessness with mental health and addiction issues.
* Experience managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.Salary & Benefits:
