Main Purpose
The successful candidate will act as a full support function tothe organization in ensuring all Community Members with Support Needs are safeguarded and protected from all forms of abuse andwill support all Communities with all matters relating to Safeguarding.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1 Improve managementreporting systems and develop data collection function within Safeguarding and the National Safeguarding Office's client information system.

2 Ensure quarterly on-site audits by the Safeguarding and Protection Teamand follow-up meetings with the Person in Charge to ensure actions are completed.
3 Attend monthly Community Management Meetings.
4 Maintain and report on Safeguarding Training Records and support staff in promoting, inviting booking, and recording oftraining sessions.
Requirements:
1 A minimum of a Level 8 on the QQI Framework - Bachelors in Nursing.
2 Candidates must possess the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability, for the proper discharge of the office.3 Knowledge and experience of using an email system effectively e.g., Outlook, Lotus Notes.
4 Knowledge of community healthservices and the wider health service structures including a good knowledge of HSE reform.
5 Knowledge and understanding of key HSE policies and procedures as relevant to this role.
