Job Title: Senior Cath Lab Radiographer

They are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Cath Lab Radiographer to join their Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory (Cath Lab) team.
Role Overview: As a Senior Cath Lab Radiographer,you will play a pivotal role in the Cath Lab, performing and overseeing a variety of interventional radiographic procedures. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the delivery of high-quality imaging services, contributing to the accurate diagnosis andtreatment of cardiovascular conditions. You will work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform and oversee a range of interventional radiographic procedures in the Cath Lab, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
* Lead and mentor a team of radiographers and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellence in clinical practice.
* Collaborateclosely with cardiologists and the multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate imaging and optimal patient outcomes.
* Maintainand ensure the optimal functioning of Cath Lab equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards.
* Manage patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital policies and data protection regulations.
* Participate in quality assurance activities, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the Cath Lab.* Stay updated with advancements in interventional radiography and cardiovascular imaging, promoting ongoing professional development for yourself and your team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
* CORU registration as a Radiographer.
* A minimum of 4 years of experience in interventional radiography, with significant experience ina Cath Lab setting.
* Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising or managing a team.
* Strong technical expertise in Cath Lab procedures and equipment.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
