Description:
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Provide 3rd-line support to end-users on all ICT-related tasks over the phone and at the desk when required.
* Ensure ICT Support systems are kept up to date and in support
* Troubleshoot all Physical and Virtual Server issues
* Troubleshoot all software-related issues
* Installation of ICT hardware and software
* Deal withexternal support companies in relation to escalated ICT Infrastructure calls
* Participation in ICT Dept. on-call rota.
* Represent the ICT Support team at meetings as directed by the ICT Infrastructure Support Manager
* Ensure all documentation pertaining to the client's ICT Infrastructure Support service is in place and updated as required
What is essential to have:* 5+ years of previous experience working on an Infrastructure Team
* Installing, maintaining, and supporting both hardware and software Server
* Deep knowledge of Windows and Microsoft software
* Deep knowledge of Windows Server 2019/2016/2012 andMicrosoft software
* Detailed knowledge of VMware.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
* Good knowledge of Active Directory and GPOs
* Experience with backup systems
* Excellent communication
* Strong problem-solving skills

* Experience with NSX
* Experience with SCCM
* Experience with HP Switches
* Ability to communicate clearly to non-technical users
* Ability to work closely with end users and 3rd Party suppliers
* Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls
* Experience with Websense
* Experience with Veeam
* Experience with Powershell Scripting
* Experience with UPSs
* SQL Clustering
* Some Linux experience
* Experience with Dell SANs
* MS Server or VMware Certification a plus
Qualifications:
* Degree in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
