Location: Dublin, Ireland



Are you a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in the lives of elderly people and those living with dementia? We are currently seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dublin, where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive careand support to the community.



Position Overview: The successful candidate will provide an integrated expert service including physical, sensory and cognitive interventions. They will be required to work alongside team members across allied healthprofessions and provide support and supervision to basic grade occupational therapists.



Salary: Starts at €59,000, DOE



Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of resident's physical, cognitive and sensory functioning to identify individual needs and goals.
* Develop and implement personalised treatment plans and interventions based onassessment findings and evidence-based practice.
* Offer guidance, respect and support to residents, families, and caregiverswhen decision making as appropriate.
* Participate in interdisciplinary team work and meetings to ensure coordinated care delivery and continuity of services.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with professional and organisational standards.



Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Current registration with CORU essential.
* Minimum of 3 yearsof clinical experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Experience working within Elderly Care and Dementia care essential.
* Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and interventions relevant to elderly and dementia care.* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
* Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
