Our client is a highly regarded provider of acute mental health treatment and care, specialising in supporting adults and older persons with serious and enduring mental health disorders.We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teamsto enhance the quality of life for individuals facing acute mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy programs tailored to the needs of adults and older persons with acute and complex mental health issues.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support.
* Supervise and mentor junior occupational therapists and support staff.
* Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and service improvement initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
* CORU Registration
* Experience in mental health preferred.
* Strong leadership skills and ability towork effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
