Are you an experienced Senior Radiation Therapist looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our client, a leading hospital in Waterford, is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with clinical protocols.
* Plan and administer radiation therapy sessions using advanced equipment and techniques.
* Provide leadership and guidance to junior therapists, ensuring the highest standardsof patient care.
* Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicists, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualised treatment plans.
* Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
* Maintain accurate patient records andensure all documentation is completed to the highest standards.
* Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements:
* Degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent qualification.
* Registration with CORU.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and handle complex cases with compassion and professionalism.
* Knowledge of the latest developments and technologies in radiation therapy.
