SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (CAMHS)

We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity to work in a prestigious MDT Team in a community CAMHS Setting. We are pleased to be recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to work in this setting based in Portlaoise.

The OT will carry a case load and willcomplete occupational therapy assessments & interventions looking at the impact of the young person's moderate to severe mental health difficulty on their occupational performance. As part of the MDT, the OT will be an active member in the weekly teammeetings and contribute to the Individual Care Plan and discharge planning. As part of the MDT, the OT will complete some generic mental health work, such as intake assessment, this will be initially closely supervised and dependent on the individual therapists measured ability and experience to date.

LOCATION: PORTLAOISE

SALARY: According to the HSE Scale

CONTRACT: 6 MONTHS INITIAL CONTRACT

CORE REQUIREMENTS

* Must possess a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with CORU.
*Minimum of 3 years' worth of experience post-graduation
* Experience of clinical and management of CAMHS
* Experience withworking in a team
* Excellent communication skills
