Our client is looking for a dedicated Senior Staff Nurse to jointheir team at a reputable and caring nursing home located in Sligo. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to their residents while leading and mentoring a team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver top-notch nursing care, following protocols.
* Lead and support nurses and healthcare assistants.
* Assess residents, create care plans, and collaborate with the medical team.
* Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accuracy.
* Maintain thorough and up-to-date medical records.
* Cultivate a compassionate and supportive environment.
Requirements:
* You will have a third level Nursing qualifications, i.e. BSc in Nursing or equivalent (ideally RGN)
* You will be actively registered with NMBI
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in electronic health records (EHR).
* Ethical, detail-oriented, and a team player.
