FRS Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting Social Care Workers on behalf of our Client based in Tipperary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated and passionate team providing supports to young people. The role involves working in a residential setting, providing support to adolescents experiencing homelessness. Thisis a full time, 12 month fixed term contract role.
Skills and Competencies required:
* Knowledge and understandingof Child Protection.
* Experience key working, assessments and care planning.
* Report writing and IT skills.
* Team work* Flexibility and reliability.
Essential Requirements:
* Degree (Third level) in Social Care
* Direct experiencein a social care setting at project worker equivalent level.
* Proven experience supporting marginalised groups, preferably young people.
* Working knowledge and insights into the issues effecting young people experiencing homelessness.
* Experiencesupporting clients who present with challenging behaviour through best practice.
