The successful candidate must have the ability to plan and manage resources, be a team player and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Purpose ofthe roles:
The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of a high quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy service to a designated clinical area(s) and will carry out clinical and educational duties as assigned by the Senior Occupational Therapist / Occupational Therapist Manager.
Details of the roles:
* Roles available: x3 roles across two hospitals
* Locations: Dublin
* Contract: Full time, permanent, 39 hours a week
* Salary: HSE Salary scale applies, Depending on experience (€42,200k - €60,696k LSI)
* The annual leave associated with the post will be confirmed at contracting stage
* This is a pensionable post
Essential Requirements:
* Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy
*Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU (www.coru.ie)
AND
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard ofsuitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.

A candidate for andany person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in astate of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service.

Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.

Demonstrate depth and breadth of OT experienceas relevant to the role.
*
All posts require a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service. Therefore, the post holder will be required to demonstrate flexibility as and when required.

Computer skills are essential including experience in Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
*
Access to appropriate transport in order to fulfil the requirements of the role. Full clean drivers license if applicable.
