Salary: €57,675 - €98,739per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent, 35 hours a week
Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Staff Grade Psychologist to specialise in providing support to children with disabilities and their families within our children's services team in Limerick. In this role, you will offer comprehensive psychological assessments, interventions, and guidance to enhance thewell-being and development of these children and their families. This role offers the opportunity to be engaged in practice routed in a family centred practice approach with a motivated and collaborative team.
Essential Requirements:
* A recognised PhD qualification in Clinical Psychology and validation of qualifications with PSI or other relevant professional body.
*Proof of validation of qualifications - if the applicant qualified outside the Republic of Ireland.
* Training and experienceof administering assessment tools including ADI-R and/or DISCO; ADOS/BOSA.
* Full Clean Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Experience working with children with disabilities and their families.
* Strong assessment, intervention, and therapeutic skills, with a focus on empowering individuals and families.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, withsensitivity and empathy towards diverse needs.
* Commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and the rights of children withdisabilities.
* Meet the Psychological Society of Ireland and Dept. of Health and Children guidelines for employment as a Staff Grade Psychologist in the Health Services.
