Job Title: Inventory Technician / Stores Operative
Location: Dun Laoghaire
Salary: €30k - €40k DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM - NO WEEKENDS NO SHIFTS

Company Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated Inventory Technician to join our client site in Dun Laoghaire.The company is committed to excellence in inventory management and supply chain optimisation.
Roles and Responsibilities:* Inspect and receive incoming goods, handling non-conforming products.
* Conduct Inter Stores Transfers.
* Manage reservations/kitting of spares for all planned maintenance work for Craft teams.
* Ensure Engineering Spares SAP Material Masters adhere to ISC standards
* Minimise the risk of "Stock Outs" through detailed analysis and purchase order tracking.
* Performroutine analysis of stock movements, including ABC Analysis, Cycle Count Analysis, Competitive Pricing analysis, and Supplier Lead time analysis.
* Record information related to procurement and materials management.
* Apply continuous improvement skills to drive site performance towards best-in-class standards.
* Support other team members and foster positive relationships with colleagues, including contract personnel.
Skills/Knowledge:
* Detailed understanding of stores management Quality & Environmental systems.
* Proficiency in information systems such as SAP (or other ERP Systems) and Microsoft Office
* Understanding of how materials management impacts a planned maintenance program.
* Ability to apply diagnostic and problem-solvingskills to determine the root cause of supply failures.
* Effective management of relationships with others.
Experience:* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a procurement or engineering stores role.
* Experience in developing and applying best practices in the stores management of engineering materials.
* Experience in resolving issues and expediting the supply of material to reduce the risk of stock outs.
* History of working in a high-performance team and delivering agreed objectives.
