This Hospital in Cork are delighted to announce an opportunity for suitably qualified and experienced Theatre nurses.
A full-time permanent contract is available after the probationary period. Full training and mentoring is given to all staff nurses as well as funding and support in further education. They are committed to the professional development & education of staffparticularly in nursing.
Essential Criteria
* You must have an NMBI Registered General Nurse licence (Ireland) whichis in good standing with an NMBI pin from Ireland in order to be considered for this position.
* You also need to be eligibleto work in Ireland and have a current work permit/visa.
* 12 months recent acute hospital experience
* Theatre experienceessential
* Strong clinical and communication skills are required
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently
*To ensure a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
* To ensure all documentation relating to patients is accurately maintained in accordance to the medical records policy.
* To practice within and support the hospital's Mission and Values,policies, procedures, guidelines and new initiatives as directed / introduced by the hospital.
Person Specification:
* Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
* Must possess strong communication skills and clinical skills.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken
* Must be computer literate
* Flexibility and excellent use of initiative
