Description:
* Strong technical knowledge of the construction industry
* Understanding of risk in the construction process
* Extensive experience of working on live projects, pre and post contract (ideally some of which on PRS developments)
* Involvement in procuring contracts* Experience of D&B contracts
* Proficient in reading drawings, specifications, and knowledge of construction
* Knowledge of standard forms of building contract
* Knowledge of general Health & Safety processes
* Ability to work in a team environment and to interface effectively with stakeholders
* Ability to manage and drive a team of external stakeholders towardsa common goal
* Knowledge of construction industry legislation
* Good understanding of H&S issues/legislation
* Strong negotiation skills
* Be comfortable questioning design proposals and offering alternatives
* Able to build long term relationships
* Ideally holds a relevant CSCS card
* Ideally, degree qualified (BSc or equivalent)
* Proficient in the use of MS packages e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Professional membership of recognised institute e.g. RICS, CIOB, ICE (desirable)
* Holds a full UK Driving Licence and willing to travel anywhere within the UK
* Be a self-motivated individual with the enthusiasm to make a difference.
