Description:
Panoramic Associates are working with a lcoal authority in the South West to support them in finding a consultant in public health for a fixed term period.
The post-holder will provide public health expertise to support a wide range of local authority and Clinical Commissioning Group activities. The post will have a key role in developing strategy and services with partner agencies to improve health and reduce inequalities.
The post-holder will provide expert public health advice on the broadagendas of:
- Health protection
- Drugs and alcohol strategy, including issues of health protection such as blood borne viruses
- Performance monitoring
- Sexual health and public health nursing
- Specialist Public Health advice to the Clinical Commissioning Group (Core Offer).
- Built environment
You must hold inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register/GDC Specialist List/UK Voluntary Register (UKVR) for Public Health Specialists to apply for this role.
Interviews will be held on 6th/7th July.
