My Client with an office based in Derby are seeking a Information Standards Lead on a 6 month contract basis with (37.5 hours a week, flexible working) paying £267 per day

The role is Hybrid with an expectation to be in theoffice a minimum of three days per week. This could be either in the Derby location or the Chesterfield (Scarsdale) location.Interviews will be face-to-face at Scarsdale. (Microsoft Teams will be considered)
Job Summary

The role supports thebusiness in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service
*
The role is designedto build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery including advice and training at all levels within the identified organisations on all aspects of information governance including confidentiality,data protection, information security and corporate records assurance
*
The role will support the ICB in discharging it's Information Governance responsibilities
*
The role will support all member GP Practices and Primary Care Networks with theirinformation governance responsibilities
*
The role will support the ICS in the development and implementation of the Derbyshire Shared Care Record and offer Information Governance expertise for developing digital initiatives relating to the ICS
*

The job description and person specification may be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the changing needs of the Department and the Organisation

Main Duties

*
Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Information Governance for the ICB, and Primary Care including, but not limited to, GP Practices and Primary Care Networks and provide support to ICS initiatives;
*
Support servicedelivery by deputising for colleagues within the organisation, as required;
*
Support the production of all Information Governance communications and ensure suitability for the target audience;
*
Provide IG support and advice for all ICS led projects and programmes of work including, but not limited to, the Derbyshire Shared Care Record, Electronic Eyecare Referral Systemand Digital First Primary Care;
*
Development of standardised document (policy, strategy, protocol and procedure) with the option to tailor as required;
*
Support key Senior Responsible Officer's, for example SIRO, Caldicott Guardian, DPO and relevant committees/groups in all aspects of information governance within the current ICB and equivalent roles within the ICS;
*Maintain an up to date knowledge / understanding of legislation for Information Governance including the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR, Common Law Duty of Confidentiality, Human Rights Act re Privacy, Computer Misuse Act, Caldicott 2 in order to provide the organisation with sound advice.
*
Support the commissioners in ensuring that service specifications and contracts include appropriate information governance requirements.
*
Provide specialist advice and support to the commissioners in relation to provider contract management arrangements.

Qualifications

*
Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area
*
Extensive knowledge of specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent*
Evidence of post qualifying and continuing IG professional development
*
Experience of managing and reporting risks, escalating as appropriate
*
Experience of drafting briefing papers and correspondence at Senior Manager and Director level
*Must have an understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy and appreciate the implications of thison engagement
*
Should have an appreciation of the relationship between the Department of Health, NHS England and individual provider and commissioning organisations
*
Member of relevant professional body
