Concept Resourcing are looking for an Operational Lead to join a Central Government client based in Brighton.
This is an initial 12 month fixed term contract with a possible extension. Salary range £53,777.00 / £71,387.00 (plus benefits).
Role:- The Operational Lead drives effective co-operation engagement between teams within strategy and communications, delivers improvements of strategic importance to the directorate and provides effective evaluation, measurement and reporting of activity.The ideal candidate must have the following experience;
* Previous Central Government or Public Sector experience would bedesirable.
* Extensive operational management experience evidence
* Support the directorate to ensure key processes, systemsand the operating model are effective and aligned with the wider corporate vision and priorities
* Advocate for, and represent, Strategy & Communications within wider committees and decision-making bodies
* Maintain and continuously improve our high-quality strategic communications planning, ensuring that customer insight and analysis form the basis of our regulatory communications
* Deliver aligned and accurate directorate performance reporting to Exco, OPO and the Board
* Work with the Director of Strategy & Communications to maintain a high-performing senior team, with clear oversight of planned and potential activities across all teams in the directorate so that this can be sufficiently resourced, budgeted and implemented
* Address emerging financial, recruitment and other risks
* Demonstrable experience in setting priorities, goals, objectives and timescales* Prioritising and decision-making at both from an organisational and personal workload perspective
* Accountancy qualification and/or experience of managing complex budgets and financial planning
* Understanding of market research and segmentationand its application in underpinning campaign planning
