My Client are an NHS Trust based in West Midlands and are seeking a Senior Specialist to join the IT & Digital Technical Project team on an initial contract basis until 31/03/2023(37.5 Hours) Paying £230 per day (Inside IR35).
The role is a non patient facing role - although may be required to visit GPpractices/hospital trust - however will not be in any patient facing area's
Job Summary
The purpose of the role is to provide support and leadership to assigned digital projects. The postholder will take ownership and manage the day to day deliveryof assigned projects to ensure they are planned and delivered effectively and to meet the project's goals on time and within budget. The role will also include organising people, tasks, and resources for successful delivery.
Knowledge
* A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it
* Clear communicator with excellent writing, report writing and presentation skills; capable of constructing and delivering clear ideas and concepts concisely andaccurately for diverse audiences
* Evidence of success in efficient and effective project and programme management
* Skillsfor communication on complex matters and difficult situations, requiring persuasion and influence.
* Skills for nurturing keyrelationships and maintaining networks.
* Skills for providing structured and ad hoc learning for projects.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with standard keyboard skills
Experience
* Significant experience in project management, and supporting change management processes
* Experience and understanding of evaluating and measuring performance
* Experience in communications and stakeholder management
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
* Previous experience in similar role in public sector
* Understanding of project methodologies
* Solid understanding and knowledge of at least one clinical system, either primary, secondary or relevant.
* Good technical understanding
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent specialist level of experience of working at a similar level in complex specialist area
* PRINCE2 Foundation level or significant specialist experience of using the methodology in the workplace and on projects
