Description:
A Local Authority are looking for a forward thinking, focused, dedicatedand professional Service Manager to crucially manage the sound delivery and performance of Children's Services within the council.
As a part of the Senior Management Team in the Local Authority you will be trusted with and expected to carry out honest and influential work to benefit the people, children and families the service already supports and will support.
You will be afundamental part to the team, working with a wide variety of Senior Managers, Heads of, Team Managers, Social Workers, and Family Liaison Officers.
The main duties of the Service Manager will include:
* Ensure the best and most suitable support and services are provided to children
* Proactively oversee and engage in child protection on the highest level
* Demonstrate strong leadership through social work and a wide breadth of Service Management experience
Key requirements/ skills:* Child Protection and Court Leadership experience
* Degree level educated, and/ or a substantial amount of manager levelexperience
* HCPC or CQSW or Diploma in Social Work
* Enhanced DBS (or eligible)
