Area Manager (Pharmacy) Dublin

Must have Pharmacy Manageror pharmacy experience.

Reporting directly to the Group Retail and Purchasing Manager, the ideal candidate for this excitingnew role will have best-in-class retail experience, be industrious, creative, a great communicator and team player and unquestionable commitment to excellence in Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities Include

* First and foremost, working with the Retail Manager and Store Managers in driving sales and support stores in the achievement of all relevant targets, store standards and marketing standards
* Driving Customer Service Training techniques instore
* Ensure that all communication is heard within pharmacies
* Support the company inventory including the distribution of stock between stores, stocktaking/ stock accuracy checks
* Address any urgent people matters in store as required and bring urgent items to the attention of the HRM
* Working with Store Managers. ensure correct resourcing/ rostering plans are in place for each store, supporting resourcing plans and directing HRM on the requirement of roles when required.
* Provide ongoing coaching and training for new and existing team members for new recruits, ensuring all team members have the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to perform their roles effectively and efficiently
* Under the instruction of the Superintendent Pharmacist, conduct monitoring spotchecks of pharmacies periodically, document and communicate findings
* Work in conjunction with the Retail Manager/Superintendent to promote new pharmacy services and processes and the roll-out and promotion of the same.
* Ensure all team members arefully briefed on all products, services, promotions and operational updates
* Supporting the Group Health and Safety Manager in ensuring compliance with standards set down under the Health, Safety & Welfare at Work Act 2005, any / all health and safety training attended and as documented in the company Health & Safety Management System
* Supporting the Group Health andSafety Manager with Health and Safety Activities instore including all reporting
* Actively look for hazards when carrying outduties and take appropriate action to remove them and/or report to the manager

Skills required:

* At least 2 years experience in a similar role required
* Customer-focused and driven.
* Ability to work in a fast-moving retail environment
* Ateam player. Credible and Authentic
* Having strong business acumen & knowledge of Pharmacies is desirable.
* A qualification in business management would be an advantage
* A full clean driver's licence is a must
* Excellent people management and communication skills
* Ability to adapt to working in multiple stores across Leinster
* An aptitude for analytics and a focus on Continuous Improvement.
* Will have the ability to work on own initiative, be industrious and self-motivated.
