Garden CentreAssistant Manager - Co. Mayo
Looking for a Leader to help grow and develop the team and brand.
The ideal candidate will:* Achieve and seek to exceed personal sales targets across targeted product areas
* Experienced in retail, sales or operations and ready to step up
* Be responsible for stock control within your department including, stocking up,
* quality control and clearance of slow-moving lines.
* Have the desire to support and mentor our store colleagues.
* Be an authentic leaderwho builds an environment where every colleague can be
* themselves and do their best work.
* Be comfortable with holding performance-related discussions when needed
* Be a superb communicator with the ability to articulate messages clearly, listento
* others, and engage with people
* Place a value on innovation and trying new ideas.
Main role responsibilities include:
* Delivering extraordinary customer service, actively mentoring and motivating the
* Garden Centre team
* Being responsible for stock control
* Effectively communicating business goals and objectives to your colleagues
* Identifying commercial opportunities in your local area
* Managing the performance of your store colleagues
* Conducting Performance Appraisalswhen required and supporting talent and
* succession planning for your team.
* Following health and safety regulations whilst maintaining excellent operational
* standards to provide a safe environment for our customers and colleagues.
* Create aphenomenal shopping experience for all our customers.
The specifics:
* Full time 40-hour contract
* Working week 5 outof 7 days
