The Counter Sales Associate is responsible for achieving all sales targets internallyin their allocated branch, and for effectively identifying customers' needs in order to maximise all sales opportunities
Responsibilities: Counter Sales
* Develop strong relationships with existing and new customers and build strong sales growth* Meet and exceed external and internal sales targets and achieve maximum sales
* Identify potential new targets and open new accounts.
* Continually learn new products and product knowledge to ensure that new opportunities are exploited
* Liaisewith customers on, product quality and respond immediately to queries or/and problems.
* Negotiate with customers on price quotations.
* Through promotion increase positive awareness among customers and potential customers
* Work closely with the Manager on sales margins and targets t
* Maintain accounts receivables in compliance with objectives
Requirements: Counter Sales
* Experience in working in Retail and or Builders merchant is highly desirable
* A proven track record in achieving& exceeding sales & margin targets
* Knowledge of DIY and or building materials highly desirable
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive can-do attitude.
* Be computer literate.
