The Role
My client, one of Ireland's leading footwear retailers is urgently seeking an experienced E-commerce & Office Manager to join their operations based in Roscommon. This is a full-time, permanent, on-site based position.
As the E-commerce & Office Manager, you will be responsible for the running of day-to-day operations including website order fulfilment, stock management, customer service and the implementation of new processes and procedures.
Tasks & Duties* Plan, organise, oversee and participate in the daily operations within the website department while overseeing the dispatch and customer service teams.
* Ensure that all orders are dispatched within agreed targets, stock management procedures are followed, customer service queries are dealt with quickly and in in a professional manner, productivity targets are achieved andthat all processes are kept running smoothly, promptly and efficiently.
* Continuously analyse and improve operational systemsto ensure consistently high levels of customer service are delivered throughout current and future business growth.
* Own thewebsite order fulfilment process and challenge existing ways of working, processes, policies, and procedures to ensure the mosteffective and efficient is introduced.
* Provide outstanding customer service to customers presenting both yourself and the company in a positive light at all times.
* Motivate and lead the team on a daily basis, including recruiting, training, supervising and appraising the team
* Accountability for weekly scorecards including productivity and profitability.
* Continuousimprovement through reporting non-compliance with processes and process improvement.
* Maintaining statistical and financial records.
* Devising rotas for staff - ensure staffing levels match business needs.
* Administering stock control.
* Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
* Liaising with transport and IT companies.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managing role within a warehouse environment - a strong understanding of logistics is essential.
* 2-3 years relevant experience in office management/ customer service with 1-2 years' experienceat supervisory level managing a small team.
* Previous experience delivering process change and improvement is essential.
*Previous experience working within E-commerce.
* Excellent IT skills with an interest in technology and a strong understanding of technology issues.
* Proven experience of developing and implementing process improvement is essential.
* Proven experience of driving team performance to ensure the achievement of KPI's is essential.
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge in delivering excellent customer service with the ability to train and mentor employees to deliver excellent customer experience through every part of business.
* Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies.
* Organised and analytical with excellent problem solving skills and leadership qualities.
