Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in the IT/EPOS retail industry? Concept are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading retail IT services organisation.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity starting January 2024.
Day to Day Tasks for the Project Manager
* You will be working on "mini-projects" across a leading retail client
* These projects will typically encompass IT systems, infrastructure, 'roll outs' application development and management, systems migration and service provision
* Need to understand the scope of works - review drawings, programmes, emails, not always clear
* Contact the appropriate suppliers to request quotes
* Prepare and submit quotes
* Update commercial register* Produce purchase orders
* Schedule/invoice the works
* Check if completed, deal with issues/snags, revisits if necessary, re-quote if scope changes
* Works will be allocated to you/you will receive direct engagement once established
What are we looking for?
The successful Project Manager will have:
* Hands on Retail Project Management experience is essential
*Works well under pressure
* Good stakeholder management
* Time management
* Strong organisational skills
* Able to workindependently as well as within a team
* Be commutable to Welwyn Garden City
Working Hours
* You will be working Monday-Friday, 9-5
* You will be remote working but may need to travel to office/stores as and when required
What are the rates?The successful candidates will be paid up to £324.00 - £374 per day via an Umbrella company
This role has been assessed and deemed Inside IR35
