FRS Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Retail Store Manager with a proven agricultural background. This is a full-time permanent role.
My client has been serving the Irish Agricultural trade for over 40years and in that period of time they had made an important contribution to the farming community in Clare , South Galway and North Limerick.
The ideal candidate with be responsible for excellent customer service, team leadership and team development.Stock control and merchandising will be key priorities whilst delivering growth in Sales. Strong agri-product knowledge is a prerequisite for this role.
Duties to include
* Support the efficient and cost-effective delivery of service to maximise sales by establishing a rapport with existing and potential future customers.
* Complete daily store operational requirements -motivate and organise your team and provide ongoing observation & feedback.
* Co-Ordinate customer's deliveries which included Animal Feed/fertiliser/Hardware/Fuel.
* Assess and improve processes - contribute to a team environment.
* Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures; legislative requirements and audit standards.
* Maintain and develop your technical and professional knowledge through continuous learning.
* Regularly communicate business and key information to your team.* Stock control & merchandising.
* Ensuring high levels of Customer Service to all customers.
Candidate profile* A proven track record in Agri and Hardware retailing, preferably with previous people management experience.
* Strong agri-product knowledge is a prerequisite for this role, and a relevant qualification is beneficial.
* A proven track record of delivering an excellent customer experience with an understanding of how this drives sales and affects the bottom line.
* Excellentwritten and oral skills as well as numeracy skills.
* Ability to develop and motivate a high-performing team.
* Time Management and organisational skills.
