Job Description
* Always be focused on driving sales and achieving sales targets
* Hire, train, and evaluate sales personnel
* Provideexcellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
* Ensuremerchandise is correctly priced and attractively displayed
* Direct and supervise employees engaged in sales
* Assign employees to specific duties such as stock-taking, reconciling cash receipts, or performing services for customers.
* Instruct staff on how to handle difficult and complicated sales.
* Perform work activities of subordinates, such as serving customers and selling, tidying stock in stock-room, cleaning and organising shelves and displays, executing price changes etc.
* Enforce safety, health, and security rules.
* Plan and prepare work schedules and keep records of employees' work schedules in line with man-hour budgets laid down by the company
* Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures for the store* Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and budget departments.
* Proactively develop methodsand procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
* Ensure goods received and dispatched are recorded correctly
* Cash-Up each day, balance sales as recorded and maintain complete records and analysis, strictly adhering to procedures, as required by the company
* Administer Staff Purchases strictly in line with Company Policy
