A BRAND-NEW opportunity for an Account Manager focused on selling to a variety of Services and Hardware to existing customers.
Our Client are a leading national company specialising in the design and integration of software solutions for the Retail and Hospitality sectors. Our solutions include extensive Point of Sale (POS) capability, Stock Control, Payments, Warehousing and Webstores.They are looking for an Internal Sales Account Manager who can continue to build mutually beneficial relationships with all clients within their existing customers while also building new relationships. Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the client's business plan and their challenges, to enable you to be positioned most favourably to deliver products and services.Our client prides themselves on teamwork, collaboration and co-operation drive innovation and excellence. Responsibilities of the Internal Sales Account Manager

** Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company's product portfolio and awareness of competitor products
* Maintaining an awareness of industry trends
* Learn, adopt and adhere to the company sales guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes maintaining and developing the Company's CRM database in accordance with company standards and developing accurate, high quality and professional sales documentation and correspondence templates
* Assist with devising and implementinglead generation activities, as required
* Follow up on all marketing campaigns to maximise their effectiveness
* Follow up on all marketing-generated leads, these will be allocated
* Qualify, develop, and manage a lead through to sales conversion, whether sourced or provided
* Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods as per the SOP
* Developand maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets
* Ensure all monthly sales targets (KPIs) setby management and agreed on in advance are met or exceeded. This will necessitate some or all of the following activities:
*Identify the needs and wants of a potential customer
* Present the Company solution without misrepresentation
* Demonstratesoftware solutions and associated products in person or over the Internet
* Handle objections from potential sales opportunities
* Prepare and present quotations/proposals to sales opportunities
* Negotiate and closing sales
* Fulfil reporting requirements according to the deadlines set for the Department
* Maximise profit on all potential sales opportunities
* Provideexcellent customer services to clients over the phone or in person
* Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniquesand skills
* Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
* Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time
* Participate in regular team meetings
* Work closely with the operations, projects and support teams to ensure a positive client experience for both new and existing customers
* Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sales and delivery of the products, or related third party products, as directed by the management team from time to time.Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
