FRS Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Rep on behalf of a leading agricultural merchant business in the Southeast. This is a full-time permanent role with attractive terms and conditions.
Our client has beensupporting the farming community for over 80 years and in that period of time they have made a significant contribution to the Irish Agri food industry. If you have a particular interest in animal nutrition and seeking a field based role we would be very interested in hearing from you. You will be joining a very established team, and you will receive excellent support, coaching & training on an ongoing basis.
You will have responsibility for an existing & established customer base and over-timeyou will build long term business relationships with some very progressive customers in dairy & beef sectors.

Full product training and technical support will be provided.
Duties to include.
* Provide nutritional advice to farmers ondiet formulation.
* Assist with soil sampling and nutrient management plans around grass & fertiliser.
* Provide salessupport & technical backup on a range of farm inputs to include chemicals & milk replacer.
* Working to agreed sales targets and assisting in money collection for month end.
* Attend national agricultural shows.
* Work as part of a team and attend business meetings when required.
Candidate profile
* 3rd level Degree or Cert in Agriculture is desirable but notessential.
* 1-2 years PQE experience desirable.
* Highly motivated with ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
* Residing in the Waterford, Wexford , South Kilkenny or South Tipperary area.
