My client, a well known Automotive Supplier based in Llanelli are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity which involves the procurement of materials to support the production plants and new project introduction requirements along with completion of general administrative tasks as required within the Purchase function.
The rolewill involve:
·Ensuring materials are purchased at the most cost effective price and most cost effective way
·Support projectteams where new projects are being introduced ensuring spares are secured at the lowest total cost and are in line with projecttiming
·
·Monthly monitoring of suppliers performance and co-ordinating associated progress activities
·General system/departmental administration support to ensure system accuracy, purchase order issue and supplier data is maintained.
You must havegeneral computer literacy with a working knowledge of all relevant software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. You must also be highly organised with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise work.
