We're exclusively working with a leading events business that has aproven track-record in delivering exceptional, high-quality events for corporate clients in the UK and Internationally. Due to expansion, we're seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities, proactively seek out new business and manage the ongoing relationship.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
* As the Business Development Manager, you'll be working as part of the Global Sales team where you will be responsible for the revenue generation within the UK.
* Generate sales and maximise revenues including upselling and cross-selling across a defined portfolio of events
* Responsible for the account management of the ongoing clients and relationships.
* Exceed sales targets by successfully creating and developing working relationships with new and existing customers, using proactive means (such as regular calls)
* Maintain accurate,relevant records, tracking emails, logging calls and updating contact data
* Organising and conducting face to face Meetings,with clients, suppliers and colleagues,
* Working closely with our inhouse creative team, suppliers and production teams
* Operate as the point of contact for assigned clients throughout the process
* Ensure customer requests and or concerns are appropriately handled quickly and efficiently
THE PERSON:
* Current experience as a Business Development Manager, Field SalesExecutive or Account Manager within a business-to-business focused environment is essential
* It's essential that the successful candidate comes from one of the following industries: Events, PR Agency, Media Sales (Press/Radio/Online/Publications)
* Aconfident individual who is able to build instant relationships both over the phone and in person
* Must be a Self-Motivated& Entrepreneurial individual with business acumen
* Willing to undertake ad-hoc travel in the UK / Internationally for events (Max 3 to 4 days per month)
* UK Driving licence and own car is essential
