BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - PAYROLL
BIRMINGHAM
HYBRID (3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS REMOTE)
UP TO £40,000 Basic + £5000 Car Allowance + £60,000 OTE + BENEFITS
THE COMPANY:
We're exclusively working on behalf of a fast-growing payroll and pension services business located in Birmingham who is looking to recruit a Business Development Manager.
As a business, they've built a unique market offering and as a result, they're winning a significant amount of new business and their market share.
The successful candidate will join the business as a Business Development Manager and will be responsible for the Northern Territory. Whilst some in person meetings will be required, often client meetings do take place via video without the requirement for travel to the territory.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager who is looking to join a fast growing and ambitious business.
THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ROLE:
* Responsible for generating new business and account management for the Northern Territory.
* Pipeline generation from initial contact, formal meeting to close
* Developknowledge of the relevant market sector and value proposition
* Meet and exceed targets, both financial and performance related
* Represent the brand and company at conferences and business networking events
* Identify new areas for expansion and contribute to the growth of the company
* Maintain relationships with partners and client's
* Support marketing with professional content that they can use within literature, brochures, online content and blogs
* Ability to present to diverse businessesand business professionals from business manager through to CEO, Finance Director or business owner/entrepreneur
* Numeracy and the ability to understand/interpret legislative constraints. The role will include exposure to financial models including VAT, Tax and cashflow modelling
THE PERSON:
* Must have experience in a Business Development Manager role or similar, ideally with experience of selling one of the following; Payroll, Pensions, Accountancy, Financial Services or similar
* Experienceof selling with a consultative approach is essential
* Excellent communication, relationship management and interpersonal skill
* Strong numeracy skills are essential
* Must have own car and driving licence.
