Business Development Manager - Cambridgeshire
An exciting new role has been created for a Business Development Manager, life sciences software.
My client is a successful informatics company who transform the way life sciences organisations handle textand documentation.
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role of the Business Development Manager is to increase sales revenue and opportunities for their Ontology Management Platform. You will be expected to travel around 50% of your week.
Business Development Manager Responsibilities
* Achieve/exceed revenue plan by driving new sales penetration within new accounts* Prepare an account plan for the territory including market segmentation, strategy for growth, and tactical plan covering theimplementation of the strategy
* Engage the technical sales team during the sales process, and partner with internal teams such as Marketing to increase visibility in the market
* Lead proposal development, negotiations and leverage internal teams andresources to close opportunities
Strategic Account Manager Requirements
* Comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences space
* Competent with solution selling principles
* Ability to develop new business and revenue streams within the Life Sciences industry
* Develop and grow exiting accounts

What's on Offer
Basic salary of £35- 55k depending onexperience c£55-75kk package + Healthcare, pension (7%), eligible for stock options, bonus plan, 25 days' annual leave
