Herdwatch is the market-leading farm management solution with over 20,000 users in Ireland & the UK and we're about to take our multi award-winning platform to a new Global audience of farmers around the world. We had 1 service in 2 countries in Jan'22, fast forward to the end of 2023 and we'll have 3 or more in 170+ countries. With a team of over 60 people today which will double by 2024, we are looking for skilled, motivated and passionate people who want to help farmers feed our planet's growing population in a sustainable way.
The Role:
* Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will have the opportunity to define and optimise our digital acquisition strategy to deliver on our digital marketing acquisition targets.
* Maximise amountof inbound leads from our digital advertising budget.
* Own our websites, which are our shop window, and work with the widerteam to improve conversion rates and SEO rankings.
* Manage new webinar projects and promote them through various sources.
*Devise, monitor and optimise campaigns to ensure performance targets are met (Lead gen, Growth & ROI).
* Lead Marketing automation improvements in collaboration with other teams to significantly increase organic conversions (i.e. non-assisted sales)in all markets, with particular focus on new overseas markets.
* Prepare and deliver performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement around performance marketing KPIs (e.g. LTV, CAC, etc.) and budget tracking.
* You will lead and mentor our marketing team of digital user acquisition specialists with a focus in performance & personal development.* The Digital Marketing Team will work with a Growth Manager for each market to drive the number of digitally generated leadsand lead conversion within agreed budgets.
* You and your team will support Growth Managers for each market with any marketing activities and assets required for local events and above-the-line marketing.
* Take ownership of lead quality by followingup with the sales team and gathering feedback to optimise future campaigns and advance leads through MQL, SQL & PQL cycles to paid customers.
* Collaborate with the marketing, product & sales teams to generate high-impact advertising assets including video, graphics, ad copy, and landing pages.
* Identify trends and insights and brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing in line with business goals.
* Staying up-to-date with digital marketing trends, potential newchannels and strategies to continuously improve, automate and optimise our digital marketing performance.
Requirements:* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in performance marketing, ideally in a software/SaaS environment, with focus on digital paidacquisition marketing (search and social) and managing budgets with a user acquisition focus at scale.
* Energetic, self-motivated with a desire for continuous improvement and "doing the right thing".
* You will have a strong knowledge of Search &Social marketing strategies, both organic and paid; Content & SEO, Branding, PR & Event marketing activities.
* Experience managing and optimising paid campaigns on search and social media, targeting different markets and personas to optimise lead generation.
* Very strong analytical skills (i.e. Excel, Google/Facebook Analytics) with an ability to glean insights fromcomplex sets of information and communicate them in a clear, effective way.
* Great communication skills to drive collaboration with other teams and stakeholders.
* A deep, proven technical understanding of:
* Social Media Marketing (SMM) and Advertising (SMA) via Facebook, Google, YouTube
* App Store Optimisation (ASO) and Advertising across both App Store and Google Play
* SEO and Website optimisation, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) via Google Ads / Adwords
* Content management systems e.g.Wordpress
* Marketing automation and lead nurturing concepts via tools such as Hubspot, email marketing and blogging / contentmanagement software.
* Passion for the digital sector and its latest trends and innovations.
