We now have an exciting Field Sales Manager opportunity witha prestigious and reputable client based in Nottinghamshire, who specialise in selling solutions & securing sales for products and services within Waste to Energy, Ceramics, Heat Treatment and other industries.
An established and stable company that has been trading for over 30 years, they are looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager to join their busy and ever-growing team on a permanent basis.
An individual with a proven track record in sales, who will work on developing existing and new accounts within UK manufacturing Industry.
You will bedeveloping and enhancing a contact base within defined UK markets within each customer / prospective customer. As Field Sales Manager you will obtain insight and feedback from customers about new and future solutions / opportunities for products and services including national & global projects. Use existing clients to expand field of influence and network with new groups in each market.
Duties:
* Manage your time in an efficient manner scheduling your own meetings and travel plans as well as appointments with both internal and external customers.
* Communicate all knowledge gained clearly about customers and competitors.
* Provide clear price and margin management .
* Undertake and negotiate price increases as per company policy by market.* Maximise profitability by selling solutions and value pricing.
* Increase customer knowledge / awareness of our products /solutions through meetings with key decision makers, training and supporting marketing initiatives.
* Comply with group requirements for HSE
* Technical customer support in each market/industrial activity.
* Attend trade shows and make presentationson innovative solutions both internally and externally
* Provide market feedback on pricing, competition activity, and any projects/new business opportunities.
* Travel within the UK as and when required. (May include overnight stays)
* Attend any relevant trade shows or exhibitions.
Essential Skills/Experience
* Experience of negotiation and selling techniques
* Track record of converting quotations to orders.
* Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent relationship builder
* Flexibility for travel
* Computer literate - CRM and ERP systems
* Full clean driving licence
Desirable Skills/Experience:
* Familiarity with Metallurgy, Ceramics, Steel,
