This highly successful international fashion and beauty designer is looking to add anexperienced Forecasting Analyst to help with sales analysis, revenue forecasts and stock management. This is a thriving, well-established and highly creative business responsible for some of the high street's most fashionable brands. The working atmosphereis lively and positive, and its ambitious growth plans means there are real career development prospects. Assisting the Forecasting Manager, the Forecasting Analyst role is:
* Providing sales performance analysis and management of demand forecasts.* Forecasting future behaviour via data analysis and modelling techniques to establish trends and forecasts
* Understanding key trade driving activities and ensure they are accurately captured in the forecasts.
* Attending forecasting and stock reviewmeetings and identifying new purchase requirements
* Monthly reviews of sales forecasts vs. targets and actual performance.* Recording and reporting customers' commercial activities.
* Improve the quality of the forecast where appropriate and ensure the data is accurate and meaningful.
Forecasting Analyst Requirements
* Experience of forecasting in a formal demandmanagement process, including Sales and Operations planning process, and ideally utilising ERP and forecasting software
* Highly competent with data and advanced Excel skills
* Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent with commercial acumen andideally an interest in beauty and lifestyle
