THE OPPORTUNITY:
Get Recruited is exclusively recruiting on behalf of oneof Cambridgeshire's most well-known and respected creative agencies. The business is now seeking a Media Sales Executive to join them on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be joining an innovative and thriving team at the ground level with plenty of opportunity to develop with them. They are looking for a confident, organised and self-motivated individual who has a proven B2B sales background and an interest within Media Sales.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Sell and manage advertising sales across their portfolio of magazines and the relevant online media
* Delivery of maximum revenue from selling advertising space and otherbusiness activities as per agreed business targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
* Sales development of existing client base to maximize sales opportunities
* Canvassing from existing database and cold-calling to prospective clients to establish their viability as potential advertisers
* Account management of existing client base to include responsibility for administration and day-to-day management of the advertising sales revenue
* Correct and diligent maintenance and use of the contactmanagement software database and administration system
* To increase advertising volume and ensure yield target is achievedTHE PERSON:
* Proven B2B sales background
* Proven sales experience of winning new business
* Creative ideas to lead clients to right solution
* Great listening and questioning ability to understand client objectives
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to achieve client's long-term aims and objectives
* Good team player attitude and the desire to work hard
