NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
THETFORD, SUFFOLK

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're proud to supporting a leading FMCGbusiness that supplies goods to all of the leading major retailer multiples in the UK, such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrison's, M&S and Ocado to name a few. Due to continued expansion of the business, they're now seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join the business to manage some of their largest accounts.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager who is looking to join one of the region's most successful businesses.
THE PACKAGE:
Base salary £40,000 to £50,000 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Bonus
Laptop & Mobile Phone. Benefits package, private healthcare,workplace pension
THE NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE:
* Working as a National Account Manager within the sales team withthe responsibility for managing some of the largest accounts with the major retail multiples, such as, ASDA, Sainsbury's, Tesco,Morrison's, M&S and others
* Developing and driving forward retail accounts with branded and own label products
* Working closely with NPD team to create new arranges that align with the retailer strategy
* Enhancing relationships with the various buyers through regular contact, face to face meetings and introducing new products
* Building on existing relationships with the various buyers within the retailers
* Producing and delivering key presentations to buyers
* Strategic promotional andrange planning, category development and Joint Venture planning
* Create and provide forecasting and sales analysis to relevant departments
* Negotiation of pricing, margins and shelf positioning
* Support the brand image and values in store
THEPERSON:
* Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a National Account Manager position or similar
* Must have experience within an FMCG environment selling to large retailer multiples such as ASDA, Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrison's, Ocado and others
*Experience of food-based products would be a significant advantage but not essential
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Commercialacumen and able to produce high quality presentations
* Excellent communication and negotiating skills
