THE COMPANY:We are recruiting on behalf of a hugely successful retailer in Manchester who are looking to expand their successful and creative Marketing team with an experienced Online Merchandiser / Ecommerce Merchandiser. This is an exciting time for the businessas they continue enjoy a significant uplift in sales and as a result, they are ahead of their financial projections for this year having tripled in size in the last 2 years.
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual from an Online Merchandiser/ Ecommerce Merchandiser / Digital Merchandiser / Ecommerce Executive / Ecommerce Coordinator / Online Visual Merchandiser background who is looking for a new challenge within an ambitious and fast-growing business.
THE ONLINE MERCHANDISER POSITION:* Supporting the sales, buying and marketing teams by driving and implementing the visual merchandising strategy
* Running the websites on Shopify
* Improving all aspects of Online Merchandising by using sales/stock reports, google analytics etc
* Ensuring strong visual product presentation and keeping the online merchandising on brand
* Uploading imagery and product information
* Creating and uploading visual content including images, videos, promotional banners etc
* Working with the wider marketing team to collaborate on content for the website, email and social media
* Constantly improving user journey
* Using data analytics to ensure the website is relevant for periods/seasons
* Conducting A/B testing
THE PERSON:
* Previous experience in a similar Online Merchandiser / Ecommerce Merchandiser / Digital Merchandiser / Ecommerce Executive / Ecommerce Coordinator role
* Experience of working with Shopify or similar shop based ECommerce CMS
* Excellent visual skills
* Experience using web analytics such as Google Analytics
