A leading animal nutrition company is looking to hire a Regional Sales and Business Development Manager with previous Agri Farm or Merchant sales and team management experience for the East Leinster region. This is a full-time permanent position.
The Role
* Development and implementation of the strategic and operational business plan to maximize the commercial success of the region.
* Relationship and account management with existing and new trade customers.
* Management, motivation and support of the technical sales team in the region.
* Promotion and implementation of company policies in the region.
* Contribute to overall company development through active and positive involvement in Business Management and Operational Teams in the company.
The Person
* Third level qualification in Agriculture or Business related discipline.
* Successful previous experience as a sales manager and/or sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
* Strong commercial and entrepreneurial flair, with expertise and knowledge of the Agri-sector.
* Leadership, mentoring, coaching and people management skills in both one-to-one and team environments.
* A positive approach to problem solving and team interaction.
* Excellent organisation and time-management abilities.
