ACCOUNT MANAGER
LUTON
UP TO £33,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION + TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly reputable and established business, working one-on-one with their Managing Director to learn about their products and services and take over some of their key account relationships. You will gain a vast amount of exposure and knowledge through training, shadowing and ongoing support to allow you to take over a portfolio of clients andcontinue to add new business opportunities.
This is a vital hire for the business and once up to speed, this person would bea natural consideration for a Sales Manager role, but the development certainly wouldn't end there! This really is an opportunity where you will get out as much as you put in and could take your career through to a director-level role and beyond!
THE ROLE:
* Initially shadowing the MD in his day-to-day tasks to build your understanding of the products, services and clients* Attending client meetings and calls with the MD
* Becoming an industry expert who can advise clients confidently
* Building strong relationships with clients and over time taking over the key accounts
* Identifying new business opportunities andmaking introductions to relevant decision-makers
* Taking and following up on inbound queries
* Ensuring all information isadded to the CRM and using the system to manage your sales pipeline
* Creating email marketing campaigns, supporting with website management and social media posts and content
* Attending relevant industry events such as Trade Shows and ExhibitionsTHE PERSON:
* Someone with a background in either a Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Account Manager, Sales Advisor, Sales Development Representative, Account Executive or similar sales role is desirable
* If not, a background within a practicalindustry such as machinery, production or manufacturing with a good understanding of technical processes
* A fast learner with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills
* Confident to meet and sell to clients over phone, video and in person
* Organised and able to manage a varied workload
* Full UK Driving Licence
