Our client, a prestigious organisation dedicated to promoting one of Ireland'smost captivating regions, is looking for a dynamic and innovative Sales & Marketing Executive based in Clare on a permanentbasis.
The role is offered as on-site.
Your new role:
You will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager and work closely with the Senior and Business Unit Managers within various centres related to the organisation. You will assist the Sales andMarketing Manager in overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day promotion of the services, brand and bookings of these iconic visitor attractions and provide sales and marketing support. The mission of the organisation includes the provision of a world classvisitor experience.
Your duties and responsibilities:
Drive sales and building awareness of the organisation's portfolio ofvisitor experiences.
Ensure the marketing strategy connects online and offline marketing activities.
Ensure that the marketing plan and strategy is linked and complements the overall objectives and strategy of the portfolio.
Assist with planning, budgeting, marketing, financial management & operational management.
Develop and implement sales and marketing activities for public events, retail, education and F&B.
Facilitate familiarisation trips and site inspections across the portfolio of visitor experiences.
Work alongside operations and entertainments departments in the facilitation and coordination of corporate,incentive and wedding bookings.
Follow up on leads and referrals to execute sales.
Assist in developing a social and digital media marketing strategy.
Assist in developing of content across the attractions digital platforms including social media, website and e-zines.
Plan and execute all email marketing campaigns.
Assist in devising and executing sales & marketing promotional campaigns through local & national media.
Develop printed promotional material including brochures, fliers, specialoffers, posters, etc.
Source advertising opportunities across traditional and digital media.
Represent the business at tradeshows, networking events and exhibitions both nationally and internationally.
Conduct market research.
Assist with organisingand scheduling of experiential events and photo-shoots.
Collaborate with design agencies on the creation of online and offline advertising.
Manage content on third party platforms.
Engage with all stakeholders, customers and suppliers.
Respond to information and sponsorship requests.
Participate in outreach activities to support the organisation's associated tourist attractions and services.
Your skills and attributes:
Minimum 3 years' experience in the field with a proven track record in sales and marketing.
Full clean driver's licence + own car.
A willingness to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.An excellent state of health and be prepared to complete a full pre-employment medical.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of teamwork & motivational skills and work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Standards-driven and customer-focused.
Self-motivated and organised, capable of working on own initiative.
Creative andinnovative approach.
