My client are looking for an experienced Buyer to come and join their established purchasing function. The role will adopt both Procurement and Supply Chain responsibilities, requiring the successful candidate to work both holistically and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiation of pricing with new and existing suppliers
- Development and planning of new product introduction
- Identification of cost saving throughout the procurement department and wider business
- Full and strategic stock management - Excel analysis of stock and inventory levels
Key requirements
- Experience in NPI/Project focused purchasing environments
- Previous stock management responsibilities - strong excel skill required
-Purchasing experience within a manufacturing/engineering setting
