FRS Recruitment is now inviting applications for the role of Social Media Specialist (Agri) on behalf of a leading Irish Agribusiness, based in Dublin West. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager - you will build, grow and manage onlinetraffic to our client's platforms, with the aim of increasing brand awareness and online engagement and carrying out marketingactivities.
This is a full time perm role offering excellent benefits and career progression for the right candidate.Schedule: Mon - Fri with Hybrid option to work 2 days in office and 3 days at home.

The Role
* Manage and schedule the daily roll out of content on our clientssocial media channels plus other products.
* Create compelling and engaging content for social media platforms, in particularvideo content.
* Engage with our readers and followers on all social media channels, respond to messages and comments while managing online reputation.
* Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand presence and support company objectives.
* Grow and build our already strong audience across social media, fostering trust and brand loyalty.
* Collaborate andcoordinate with all teams across the business, including editorial, marketing, production, design and commercial to ensure alignment of social media strategies with overall business objectives.
* Analyse data to evaluate the success of each strategy while staying up to date with industry trends and developments in social media and technology.
* Attend events and engage with ouraudience while promoting the Irish Farmers Journal.
* Help to optimise paid campaigns across all platforms.
* Working withthe marketing and circulation team to achieve growth across the business.
* Develop and implement social media strategy.
* Create content for social channels through video, images using Canva / Adobe.
* Collaborate with editorial and marketing to develop new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
* Email marketing / creation of newsletters.
The Candidate
* Third Level qualification in agricultural science, marketing or a related discipline.
* Knowledge of rural and farming life in Ireland is essential.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Social Media/Content Marketing
* Knowledge of the constantly evolvingsocial media platforms and media landscapes.
* Full drivers licence and access to a car (Essential) to attend events and tradeshows for marketing purposes throughout Ireland.
* Ability to create video and reels for social channels.
* Strong writing skills
* Knowledge of multimedia production tasks and software, social media, familiarity with HTML, audio and video editing anadvantage
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
