VENUE SALES MANAGER
MANCHESTER AIRPORTUP TO £35,000 + UNCAPPED COMMISSION + EXCELLENT BENEFITS
Get Recruited are recruiting for a leading venue offering corporate events and hospitality in Manchester As they continue to succeed they are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. As Venue Sales Manager you will be building relationships with new and existing clients to secure space and venue hire opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Manager / Sales Executive / Senior Account Manager / SeniorSales Executive from a Corporate Hospitality / Corporate Events / Events Venue / Conferencing / Hotel or similar background tojoin a market-leading business who offer fantastic benefits and career prospects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Working closely with the Sales Director to outline and deliver the sales strategy to achieve the goals for revenue for the venue
* Effectively managing the Events calendar to maximise revenue opportunities
* Responding to and converting enquiries and processing bookings* Creating and following up quotes for clients, ensuring these quotes reflect any additional costs relating to the delivery ofthe event
* Regularly analysing the sales activity for the venue to identify areas of improvement and influence the sales strategy accordingly
* Maintaining accurate records on the CRM, updating and maintaining clients' contracts and paperwork
* Ensuring invoices are sent accurately and payments are properly processed
* Proactively targeting new clients to identify the venue and relevant packages
* Building relationships with new and existing clients to secure continued business
* Working alongside the marketing team to increase awareness of the venue and engagement with clients
* Supervising the Sales Executive and their day to day activity
* Having a hands on involvement in event planning and delivery, ensuring high-quality and commercially viable event delivery
* Ensuring the venue and rooms are set up in line with client specifications
* Working closely withthe events and catering team to ensure the delivery of the F&B side of events is profitable, commercially viable and meets client expectations
THE PERSON:
* Previous experience within a similar Sales / Business Development / Account Management role within Conferences / Events / Hospitality / Hotels is essential
* Proven track record of achieving targets across new business and account management
* Confident to sell to clients at all levels
* Able to self-motivate and work as part of a vibrant sales team
