Description:
Our client, based in East Cork, requires a Shift Lab Technician. You will be reporting in to the Lab Supervisor.

Do you have experience in the area of Physical, Chemical and Microbiological testing?
Do you have a 3rd level Degree in scientific discipline or equivalent?
Do youhave 3/4 years experience as a lab Technician?
Your duties will include:
* Documentation of all testing performed in accordance with cGMP and all other regulatory requirements.
* Provide additional technical support to laboratories as needed, which may include participation in cross-functional teams for site initiatives.
* In process Analysis, Finished Product Testing, Microbiological Testing.
* Ensures that testing and results approval are completed within agreed turnaround times.
* Conduct laboratory calibrations as required
* Predominantly physical and chemical analysis.
* Pharmacopeia Testing of Powder material, including particle size analysis, moisture analysis, titrations, heavy metals, loose bulk density etc.
* Microbiological testing Y & M, TPC, Pathogens etc.
* Full training will be provided.
Hours of Work
This position is for a 12 hour shift role including night. Two 12 hour days followed by two 12 hour night, 4 days off.
