QA Specialist - Waterford
Excellent opportunity for a QA Specialist to join a leading pharma company in Waterford.
I am delighted to be partnering with a fast growing and multi-nationalpharmaceutical business who are expanding their quality team and are looking for a Quality Specialist to join their team at a time of growth within the business.
With a lot of investment into the business in recent years and exposure to a broad range ofpharmaceutical and wider healthcare products, this role will really put you at the coalface of the business, with a varied exposure to both internal and external stakeholders.
The role:
The core focus for the Quality Specialist will be to implementall aspects of the Quality system as well as ensuring that the GMP practices are compliant with the current guidelines.
The key responsibilities for the Quality Specialist will include:
* To manage and report all Quality Metrics within the Chemistrydepartment including Exceptions, CAPA's, Change controls, SOP's, ETQ, Effectiveness checks.
* Ensuring all actions are assigned and tracked to ensure compliance with company metrics
* Completion of Chemistry approval of Quality documentation e.g. Exceptions, CAPA's, SOP's, Quality and technical agreements.
* Lead and schedule cross functional risk assessment (RCA) as required within the department.
* Manage Weekly internal audits and schedule and manage site horizontal and method witnessing requirements
* Ensure processes and systems are in place to ensure that Quality/ CAPA related project work is completed
* Responsibility for managing the completion of compendia updates assessments for Chemistry.
The ideal candidate for the Quality Specialist role will have the following background:
* Around 5 years experience working in a Quality related function within a Pharmaceutical or related industry.
* Good knowledge of GMP guidelines.
* Solid experience working with and implementing quality systems.
* A proactive and collaborative approach to work
