Senior Bioprocessing Scientist- Days role- M-F.

What you will be doing:
You will drive day-to-day manufacturing processing and support Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP}-compliant activities for the production of sterile gene therapy products in addition to leading a small team of Bioprocessing Scientists .
Main activities:
* Coordinatesorganise and support the training of the team
* Line management
* Responsible for compliance with GMP, Data Integrity and Good Documentation Practice (GDP)
* Ensuring that CAPAs, Change Controls, BMRs & audit/inspection actions are closed timelyand in a right-first-time state.
* Ensure on-time availability of GMP product manufactured according to the agreed manufacturing schedule.
* Responsible for leading Quality issue first response during bioprocessing and ensuring Quality on the Shop Floor is in place to verify the facility is always inspection ready.
* Champion continuous improvement within the team
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Science or Engineering.
* Strong background in GMP manufacturing operations
* Experience inpharmaceutical product manufacture (preference for biologics and aseptic manufacture).
* Prior experience of conducting regulatory inspections and audit readiness activities
