The Role: Area Sales Manager
* Repeat selling to an established customer base within the territory
* Responsible for proactively managing the Key Accounts within the territory
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key accounts and Buying Groups
* Manage Key Accounts from a personal and company perspective from achieving sales targets to maintaininga high level of customer service.
* Demonstrate a strong willingness to grow, lead and manage the sales territory.
* Ensurethat the sales process and CRM are maintained from a key account and customer service perspective.
* Strong journey planning and account management experience.
Requirements:
* Candidates should have either timber sales experience into the merchants OR selling building/construction products into the builders' merchants and buying group experience.

Reporting to the Headof Group Sales, this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic sales team. This position wouldsuit an ambitious, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual, with a proven ability in selling timber or building products. Experience selling products into the builders' merchant sector is an essential requirement. Good communication skills are essential aswell as the ability to deal with people at all levels of the organization up to the Director level.
