FRS Recruitment are looking for an Assistant Project Manager for a position with one of our clients, a Fit Out Contractor based in South Dublin. They would cover a number of high end Commercial Fit Out projects in Ireland & the U.K.
Assistant Project Manager
* The Assistant Project Managers primary function is to assist the project managers with their administration duties on larger projects, with a potential progression path into project management positions indue course.

Qualifications & Previous experience:
* You will preferably have previous experience focusing on internal fit outs, including internal partitions and ceilings etc, in commercial and industrial projects.
* The role will include management of relationships with designers and site and client teams, main contractors and suppliers.
* The ideal candidate should have an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in Engineering/Construction Management
The Role:
Working closely with the management team and providingreports into the Project/Contracts Manager, the key areas of responsibilities include
* Maintain all relevant documentationincluding drawings register, project programme, weekly project productivity, variation log, hire equipment log, PPE register etc.
* Understanding of programme and organising labour and materials to achieve the same.
* Plan sufficient labour resources are on-site to and manager product delivery
* Resolve day to day issue's on-site in a timely, amicable and efficient manner toensure the programme is maintained
* Plan works accordingly to tie in line with the programme and drive labour force to work at maximum capacity while on-site.
* Organise works in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines
* QA all tradesmen work in a systematic way to ensure quality is maintained at all times.
* Ensure that work is built in accordance with the latestconstruction issue drawings
* Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site - carry out safety checks on site.
Requirements:
* 1-2 years experience working with Industrial and Commercial projects, and preferably with experiencein the areas of internal fit out work.
* The ability to work independently and to manage inputs from a range of specialist suppliers and in-house staff
* Good interpersonal and team-working skills
* Be results oriented
* Have the ability to work under pressure
